Nomination for De Nederlandse Bouwprijs 2011, Bio-based concept

I won the Battle of Concepts contest about sustainable biobased building materials with the concept called 'Cork Floorheating System'. It makes use of the most sustainable material there is: cork. Read more about the insulation plates here (PDF, Dutch).

This concept has been nominated for the Young talent award of De Nederlandse Bouwprijs 2011.

New job at Saint-Gobain Isover

Recently I started a new job at Saint-Gobain Isover, the world leader in insulation solutions. Since 1937, the Insulation activity of Saint-Gobain manufatures products and systems designed for thermal and acoustic insulation as well as fire protection for buildings and installations.

As a technical engineer, I will focus on low energy project (for example passive houses).

Graduation project

I graduated at the Technical University of Eindhoven (master Building Technology) in 2009. You can read more about my project here.
